Mobile : Dance of the Sycamores

“The Dance of the Sycamore” is a mobile that simulates the falling of the sycamore seed.

Its structure looks like a tree with six branches, and each branch has five sycamore seeds.  If one lightly rotates a branch all the other will rotate in response and one can imagine six seeds falling from a maple tree. 

This piece pays tribute to Alexander Calder by the magic of the mobile in combination with beautiful colors.

It is assembled using aluminum wire and the principles of mobile design. It can be hanged with a string from the ceiling using a hook. It is very light.
